**Sharks win by just one run as Dunk smashes 167**

Sharks First Grade got their season off to a winning start, defeating Kingborough by just one run in a thrilling contest at the Twin Ovals.

Batting first, the Sharks finished on 4-315 thanks to a blistering 167 from Ben Dunk, who was well supported by Alex Doolan & Sean Willis who both made half centuries.

With the ball, the Sharks got out to a good start taking three early wickets before a wonderful partnership of 201 between Webster & Rose put the Knights within striking distance.

With a slow overate penalising the Sharks 6 runs, Kingborough needed 8 runs off the final over to win, but Gabe Bell pulled up big when it mattered, taking a wicket off the last ball of the match to see the Sharks home by just one run! Belly ended up with four wickets while Willis showed off his all round abilities, taking two.

All grades, including the Women’s team play next weekend!
