Profile - Trent Keep

Trent Keep returns to the Sharks for Season 18/19, having played four previous seasons with the club, including the first ever First Grade Premiership for the club.

Having spent the last year guiding Latrobe to a First Grade Premiership as Playing Coach, he’s going to be a very valuable asset to the Sharks. The benefits won’t just be felt on gameday when he’s doing his thing in the middle, but at every training session, as he continues his coaching career as an Assistant Coach.

“I’m just looking to contribute, especially from a coaching point of view. It would be nice to help the entire club improve, and have new faces be successful in their grades. If I score some runs along the way, then that’s even better”

Sharks Coach Matt Clark echoed the whole club’s excitement about having a past son, distinguished talent and experienced coach joining the club.

“Trent joins us again in 18/19 after a very successful season with Latrobe CC. Trent brings a wealth of batting knowledge stemming from a previous stint with the Sharks and Successful 17/18 steering Latrobe CC to a premiership”
